The 10" KIDD Supergrade lightweight pistol barrel weighs 1lb. This barrel is designed to be used with the KIDD supergrade receiver. Our patented performance barrel change system allows for a simple barrel swap at the range or in the garage with no vice, no barrel fitting, and no possibility of barrel droop.
This lightweight pistol bull barrel design is unique due to the singular construction of the barrel, breech to muzzle. It starts as a .920" bull for the first 3/8 inch and then steps down to .870 until the muzzle. We fit a fluted black or silver sleeve to give it a bull barrel look, along with an extremely rigid and durable construction.
What makes the supergrade super? We take a Lothar Walther blank and machine it with our three-part locking and stabilizing system. These barrels have a 1 7/8" barrel extension, utilizing an indexing flat, clamping v, and clamping flat. The indexing flat allows the shooter to perfectly time the barrel so that the extractor cut is properly aligned. The clamping v and flat secure the barrel into the receiver with two 1/8" hex head bolts.
A proprietary chamber reamer is used to ensure the cartridge and bullet feed smoothly. Our barrels are chambered to accept .22lr ammo and have a 1:16 twist.
The unique convex extractor slot eliminates extraction problems by ensuring the extractor is always in perfect alignment with the case rim. Why doesn't everybody use this extractor slot? Because the tooling is very expensive and requires tolerances be held very close for proper machining. Each barrel receives an 11-degree crown and the double ring at the muzzle end with KIDD marked on the barrel.
