Tony Kidd’s patented two-stage geometry sets the standard for precision autoloading triggers. This system delivers a crisp, competition-grade break with the reliability required for field use. All major internal parts (hammer, sear, transfer bar) are machined in-house and cut via wire EDM for razor-sharp, perfectly consistent engagement surfaces. The trigger guard is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, anodized for a durable, non-build-up, glare-free finish. KIDD’s interchangeable magazine release system lets you instantly swap between three release lever styles using a quick-change mortise/tenon interface.

Extraction is only as strong as the hook geometry and surface finish. Our EDM-cut extractor delivers a crisp, repeatable edge that reliably bites stubborn cases—even in tight match chambers. By holding a .0002" tolerance, the extractor sits perfectly in the bolt, preserving alignment and ensuring the fired case is pulled cleanly every time. Hardened A2 tool steel maintains that sharp edge shot after shot. KIDD Firing pin offers consistent ignition. Factory firing pins are often stamped, leaving uneven surfaces and inconsistent geometry. Our wire EDM process produces a perfectly repeatable firing pin profile with crisp edges and precise dimensions, ensuring each rim strike is uniform. This improves reliability, reduces ignition variance, and prevents the irregular rim indentation that comes from a dull or distorted pin.

Because Ruger® polymer trigger housings vary slightly in tolerance, final break weights are approximate. KIDD Threaded Receiver Pin Kit Installation
Factory 10/22® trigger pins often fit loosely, allowing movement that undermines bedding consistency and causes the trigger group to shift during handling or disassembly. This threaded system removes the slack entirely: the pins anchor the trigger guard, while small screws on each end lock the pins in place.
