Engineering
While this component doesn’t interface with the barrel, the stock’s
supplemental friction lock and precision-molded fit eliminate unwanted movement
that can translate into shot dispersion. By reducing receiver-extension play,
you maintain a more consistent interface between the shooter and the rifle,
supporting overall stability and accuracy potential.
Installation & break-in tips

Ensure you are using a mil-spec diameter receiver extension tube (not
commercial-spec).

Lubricate the contact points lightly during
first installation for smooth adjustment.
·
Cycle the stock through all positions several
times to seat the friction lock.
·
Confirm the latch fully engages each detent
before firing.
·
For sling setups, verify swivel fitment on the
TYPE 3 mount and the 1" loop.
