Q: Hello, will this upgrade work with aluminum parts? Thanks!

Asked by: Bobby - 8/21/2024
A: Hi Bobby,
The answer is sometimes...
We recommend dropping our trigger job kit into polymer units because we have found them to have more consistent dimensions. This consistency is not noticeable with the factory parts installed but when installing the trigger job kit there is not as much "room" for inconsistencies. We have nearly 100% success rate in the polymer and about 65% in the metal housings. -Good shooting!

Q: In the pictures for your trigger job kit it shows a polymer housing with a pinned fixed ejector instead of the flippy floppy one that comes in the OEM housing. Is this an available aftermarket option?

Asked by: Mike - 8/18/2024
A: Hi Mike,
Great question, a hole needs to be drilled in the trigger for the cross pin that holds the fixed ejector. This is tricky for the average "Joe" to hold and drill in the perfect location. That is why we don't offer this as an upgrade, though the flippy floppy one is very annoying. -Good shooting!

Q: Does the "Trigger Job" Kit work on older 10/22's with metal (aluminum ?) trigger and trigger group? I see explicit mention of "stock polymer", so it seems like it might not. The 10/22 I have is about 28 years old. Thanks.

Asked by: Jayson Burak - 8/16/2022
A: We do not recommend our trigger job for use in aluminum guards. Although we have had happy customers who say it has worked in their aluminum guards, we cannot guarantee this. It is a hit or miss situation because the hole placements are not always consistent.
