Q: Is the barrel a constant diameter, i.e., .92 or does it taper slightly. If it tapers, what is the muzzle diameter? I prefer a .92 constant. IS the stainless bull barrel available in a standard fluted design?

Q: Hi, I've seen some pictures with the brake installed and some pictures shows a taper between the barrel and brake while others you can't even tell they're 2 separate pieces. How do I go about purchasing the barrel and brake with no taper between them?

A: We changed our barrel design some time ago and no longer offer the seamless design for our barrels. All of our threaded barrels now have a chamfer between the thread protector and the barrel.

Q: I am interested in the 18 inch version of this barrel for varmint shooting (mostly ground squirrels). CCI Stingers have been my preferred ammo for this purpose. Are they OK to use in this barrel???

A: We do not recommend shooting CCI Stingers in our barrels due to stinger cartridges being longer than standard ammunition.

Q: When ordering this barrel if I select the option of the muzzle brake will the basic thread protector also be included? Also what method do you use for installing your muzzle brake, crush washer, peel washer or shim washers? Thank you.

A: You will get the cap and the muzzle brake when you purchase a threaded barrel plus the muzzle brake option. The brake will screw on without any shims or washers.

Q: Do you make this barrel in black? Also how does the threading affect the accuracy. I plan to purchase all Kidd parts to build a 10/22 rifle using a Revolution Yukon stock. I want this to be as accurate as possible but would also like to include some "cool" into it.
