Q:Howdy,
I have one of your bolt charging assemblies. With the stock bolt, it is kind of sloppy and the handle rubs on the receiver. If I purchase one of your bolts will it all fit tighter and stop that problem?
BTW, I just bought one of your single stage triggers and love it!!!
Asked by: James Knudson
- 11/3/2017
A: Thank you for your recent purchase. The KIDD bolt does have tighter tolerances so it will help take some of the slop out. Good Shooting-KIDD

Q:Will your Kidd 22LR Bolt drop into a standard Ruger 10/22? What improvements would I expect to see? Thanks
Asked by: Abel
- 4/7/2017
A: This bolt should drop into a factory receiver. It has proper head spacing and firing pin protrusion to improve reliability. The "pinned" firing pin gives you consistent ignition . We radiused and polished the rear of the bolt for improved cycling and it comes with our upgraded firing pin and extractor. Good Shooting-Shalee

Q:I m building a .22LR using all KIDD parts except for the barrel which will be a green mountain 20" bull barrel which I already have. When mating the barrel to the KIDD receiver do I need to check the headspace with a go - no go gauge? Or will the headspace be correct because of the bolt tolerance?
Thank you
Asked by: Wes
- 2/15/2016
A: There is no need to "set" headspace as it is already build into our bolt. Regarding the mating of the barrel and receiver, use the shoulder of the barrel as your stopping point indicator. When the barrel shoulder is up against the receiver you should be good. Good shooting! KIDD
