Q:Can this receiver b used to build a charger pistol?
Asked by: Dave
- 1/29/2016
A: As of 2016, our receivers are shipped as receivers to your local FFL. So, if the receiver is logged in at the manufacturer (which is us) as a receiver then then the customer is allowed to designate if it is a rifle or pistol. But if it is designated as a rifle then formal paperwork must be filled out to modify it into a pistol. Good shooting! KIDD

Q:You have a black and a silver receiver. Is the silver one stainless steel?
Also, will a ruger BX trigger fit in your receivers?
Asked by: Paul
- 1/31/2016
A: The black and silver are both anodized aluminum. The factory trigger tends to be a bit wide for our receiver, so we recommend our trigger (of course). Good shooting! KIDD

Q:Can I buy your receiver without the rail? I prefer the one piece base and ring system. Thank you,
Eddie Johnson
Asked by: Eddie Johnson
- 12/29/2015
A: Hi Eddie, Thank you for your interest in our receiver, but the rail is sold with this receiver without additional cost. So wether you use it or not the price is the same. But we must note, that our base is machined specifically for this receiver and your one piece base and ring system won't mate with our receiver due to the enhanced structure that we have set up with the top groove of our receiver and the bottom ridge of our base. Good shooting! KIDD

Q:The site says expect 2 week delay. Does this mean you are out of stock? I tried to order, but it will not add to cart.
Asked by: Rick
- 1/28/2016
A: Hi Rick, The 2 week delay on this product is not due to being out of stock, but it is a reflection of the increased paperwork that must be completed before a receiver is shipped. I'm not sure why you were having trouble ordering it, but if you give us a call at 830-557-5433 we would be glad to assist. Good shooting! KIDD

Q:Is this fully assembled? Ready to drop in?
Asked by: Matt
- 1/2/2016
A: Hi Matt, This receiver is complete and ready to be installed. We have some drop down options on this product that will make it a fully accessorized receiver, such as the takedown screw, receiver pins, buffer, v-block, and more. But if purchased at the initial price, the accessories will need to be added during the build process. We give customers the option of purchasing these accessories or not, because of the many differing stages that "builds" are in when a receiver is needed. Good shooting! KIDD
