Well done

I never write reviews but after receiving and shooting my new 1022 I had to make the effort to give a huge acknowledgment to the KIDD team. After months of talks with Kidd I finally pulled the trigger. I want to first acknowledge the most detailed quality I have ever encountered with a fire arm. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Lastly but not least. I want to acknowledge Shalee and her team. The patients she has shown myself is outstanding. Not only her knowledge about the products but her care to make sure I am getting exactly what I needed not pushing me to buy things I don’t need. You can see through her supporting staff that she coaches what she speaks because EVERY SINGLE person I talk to at KIDD is understanding and helpful. I never had to talk to a machine or someone reading off a script. I want to Thank Tony for a job well done with ever aspect of KIDD that I have experienced.

My new Kidd Rifle

Have finally had a chance to shoot my rifle. After shooting my friends rifle ( Nelson Haney ) for over a year ago, I am more than pleased to report that it shoots Awsome, for the first eighty shoots, and am anxious to see how it shoots after the next fifty or so more shots of breaking in.

Releases magazine easier and faster

I already have one on one of my 10/22 builds and bought a second one for another build I'm working on. Kidd products are very high-quality and in my opinion are the only way to go. I always order early morning before Kidd opens and all my orders have shipped the same day. Kidd's customer service is also outstanding.

Not blown away.

Kidd's shipping department isn't the most efficient. I was sent the wrong chassis to begin with and my barreled action arrived without the 20 MOA scope base I paid for. Kidd did correct these issues. I ordered the rear tang option and if you want to clean your gun correctly, it's the most aggravating gun in the world to care for. You obviously have to completely remove the trigger pack, but then you must remove the barreled action from the chassis, four screws, a takedown pin along with thread sleeves and a rubber insert. Then, you'd better have a T20 allen star key to remove the mismatched screw inside the rear of the receiver to access the cleaning hole provided. I've yet to shoot the gun much, but it does do well with Eley ammunition. I've had zero luck with RWS ammo. Overall satisfaction tbd.

Wow!!!

Just installed the 18” heavy tapered on a run of the mill 10/22 with a 4 pound trigger and a bipod and shot it in a 50 yard benchrest contest against some awesome dedicated bolt guns on mechanical rests… I finished in the middle of the pack with a score of 661-2x / 750. Not awesome by their standards but hands down amazing by mine. Thanks for a fantastic product.

fast service

Well, that kind of service is pretty hard to beat. I placed the order on Sunday morning at about 9:00 and then Monday morning at 8:45am (Central time) I receive an email that my order has shipped. Guys, that's pretty damn good service and it's also very much appreciated. Thank You!

Wow that is really kind of yall! I appriciate the help with that! I have to say too, I am so impressed with the trigger system I got from you guys! I had a friend recommend your lightweight trigger and I couldn't believe how much better that felt than the stock trigger beyond just the pull weight! I am loving the stuff you guys are making! outstanding customer service

To Shalee and all others involved: Thank you so much for the outstanding customer service provided to my wife and I. We very much appreciate the quick response and warranty no charge repair to the 2 stage trigger. And going above and beyond providing us with the magazine speed lever. Shalee and another lady that answered the phone have both given me excellent advice on other technical issues with my KIDD and my mostly stock Ruger 10/22. Both ladies have a lot of expertise and are courteous and professional. I purchased the KIDD rifle for my wife after a buddy that has upgraded 3 Ruger 10/22’s with KIDD parts strongly suggested we go with the KIDD super clone. Word of mouth matters. In fact, two fellow gun enthusiasts recently joined us at the range and shot our KIDD rifles. We strongly encouraged them to go with the KIDD platform. The interchangeable barrels on my rifle are just fantastic and the rifles are super accurate. Thank you, David and Robin

so much great merchandise

Honestly, I’m still in the process of organizing my builds. However, it’s Kidd’s fault, if you didn’t have so much great merchandise and choices it wouldn’t be so difficult. Seriously, everything is fine looking forward to completing my next build.

Great Service

I have to be up front and say that I bought a 10/22, I chose the the takedown model and before I even fired it, I did some research and found that KIDD would be the place to go to improve it. So, off I went and pick a few things to do first, bolt handle and springs, extractor, firing pin, mag release and auto blot release. I called to find out if there were any coupons and was promptly given the free shipping code, two days later my parts arrived and have transformed my 10/22 into a more reliable and fun rifle. Thanks so much, I will enjoy it and not having to deal with the issues the stock rifle would have given me.
