Avoiding receiver shift — our engineering
The KIDD rear tang is engineered to lock your KIDD receiver firmly into the stock, eliminating the micro-movement that can degrade repeatability and accuracy. By adding a second anchor point behind the action, the KIDD rear tang improves bedding stability and provides a consistent recoil surface. Each tang is matched to your stock’s slope angle (9°, 19°, 24°, or 29°), delivering a custom fit that maximizes contact and rigidity. For the ACC, Field Stock, or KRG Bravo, KIDD substitutes specialized hardware in place of the escutcheon to ensure correct installation without modification.
Installation & break-in tips
· Requires custom stock inletting unless using a compatible chassis
· Confirm slope angle (9°, 19°, 24°, or 29°) based on your stock’s rear profile
· When bedding, a front pillar is recommended for best results
· Install the tang into the KIDD receiver pocket using the provided screw
· Use the included rear stock screw and escutcheon unless installing in:
o MDT ACC
o MDT Field Stock
o KRG Bravo
(These use alternate supplied screws instead of the escutcheon.)
· Do not overtighten; torque to recommended values for your stock system
