The KIDD .22 LR receivers are designed from KIDD to accept these upgraded threaded receiver pins. The pins stabilize the trigger guard and the screws on either side of the pins hold the trigger in place while the barreled action is out of the receiver- no more removing the barreled action from the stock and suddenly the pins fall out and so does your trigger!
Use an 82 degree countersink tool, when upgrading a non KIDD 10/22® style receiver to accept these pins, so that the screws fit flush with the outside of the receiver. We sell a threaded receiver pin kit with the countersink as a separate product, for your convenience.
Installation: With screw on one end of the receiver pin, align trigger unit holes with receiver pin holes and slide front and rear receiver pins all the way through. Screw in the second screw using the provided hex wrenches. Screws should be finger tight only-please no unnecessary torque on the screws.
