Upgrade your Supergrade rifle with quick-change barrels — drop-in swap,
no vice, no fitting, and guaranteed ½" groups at 50 yards.
What makes it special
- Field-swap convenience: Extra-long 1 7/8" tenon
with an indexing flat, clamping V, and clamping flat
lets you swap barrels at the range with two 1/8" hex bolts —
fast, repeatable, and tool-light.
- Droop-proof design: The three-part locking &
stabilizing system mechanically locates and clamps the barrel so it seats
perfectly every time and eliminates barrel droop.
- Versatile lineup: Available in stainless,
fluted, chromoly, tapered, lightweight, and ultra-light options
— pick the length and mass that fit your mission.
- Match-grade origins: Bored & rifled from Lothar
Walther blanks and finished by Tony Kidd with a proprietary
chamber reamer and precision crown for consistent feeding and
repeatable groups.
- Extractor & crown excellence: Precision convex extractor
slot for reliable extraction and an 11° crown + double ring at
the muzzle; KIDD marked.
- Accessory ready & guaranteed: Optional 1/2"-28
muzzle threading (protective cap) and a ½" at 50 yards
performance guarantee on qualifying Supergrade rifle barrels.

Avoiding barrel droop — our
engineering
Barrel droop is prevented by geometry and clamp design. The 1
7/8" tenon and the three-part locking system (indexing flat, clamping
V, clamping flat) locate the barrel axially and rotationally, then clamp it
securely with two 1/8" hex bolts to create a rigid, repeatable
interface. The shoulder is machined as a clean step (not a ramp) so the
barrel sits flush against the receiver — preventing any teeter-totter
movement or long-term sag. When properly seated, v-block screws only need to be
snug (~10 in-lb).
Installation & break-in tips
• Prep: Remove paint/debris from the receiver mortise before
install.
• Align: Line up the indexing flat so extractor timing is
correct.
• Seat: Insert the barrel, snug the two 1/8" hex bolts evenly until
the barrel is firmly seated.
• Torque: Prefer even snugness over high torque; use ~10 in-lb
for v-blocks.
• Break-in: Run two magazines before evaluating groups; repeat
when changing ammo.
• Cleaning: Keep the chamber clean; avoid excessive bore scrubbing —
typical bore-clean interval ~500 rounds (varies by ammo).
