Q: I know this question has been asked before. CAN the springs work in a stock Ruger trigger assembly? Note: I'm NOT asking if it's "recommended" or not, but rather are they the same size (length, width) as the OEM springs? Maybe by saying "not recomended" the question is being answered, in a way. thanks!

A: Thank you for your question. These springs do not work on the KIDD two stage trigger. Our complete two stage has a internal weight adjustment to increase or decrease the pull weight by the turn of a screw.

Hi David, Our kit is made to work with our trigger job kit, here is the link: https://www.coolguyguns.com/KIDD-Trigger-Job-Kit-Black-with-Hammer-Sear-Disconnect-and-Trigger-blade_p_95.html placed inside a factory polymer trigger. Based on your question, I'm assuming that you don't have our upgraded trigger job kit in your trigger and are wondering if our spring kit will allow your factory trigger to function. It probably will, but factory triggers vary a great deal and I can't say for certain that it will work with your particular trigger. I know customers have tried to "tune" their factory trigger with these springs. That doesn't work due to the extreme tolerances built into a factory trigger. -Good shooting! MKidd

A: Yes, this spring goes behind the trigger blade into the trigger guard.

A: These springs are will only work as designed in combination with the KIDD Trigger Job Kit. If you are using them for the factory trigger unit you will not correct the pull weight on the trigger.

You do not need to purchase our weight tuning kit if you have a complete Kidd single stage or Kidd two stage trigger. Our complete trigger units have an internal weight adjustment that allows the user to change the pull weight by the turn of a screw.
