The KIDD .22LR Classic Receiver is an aftermarket receiver. It is a slip-fit design with industry standard dimensions. The Classic is designed with the easy access rear cleaning hole and a proprietary interchangeable low scope base with varying minute of angle (MOA) available. Zero MOA is great for 50 yards and under 20 MOA is helpful for 150 yards and over. It is designed to drop into a stock inletted for the 10/22
®
without any modification. This receiver is milled out from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized either black or clear. Recommend using a KIDD trigger with a KIDD receiver.
We have provided the option to build this receiver with receiver pins, bolt buffer, or rear tang if desired. The receiver is machined to utilize our threaded receiver pins. Our upgraded bolt buffer will cushion the felt recoil of the bolt. The optional rear tang will increase your stability of the rifle but require some custom inletting to your stock. (See rear tang installation instruction below) We also have the additional option of a second scope base due to the interchangeable nature of this base you may want to purchase two. So for instance, if you were going to change from shooting 25 yards to 150 yards and your scope needed some help with that adjustment, you could switch out the base. Both the scope base and rear tangs have mating designs to the receiver so that our rifles have great rigidity as well as some customization aspects.

We are required to send this receiver to your local FFL (Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer). That is why we have the comment box above this description with the required information for your FFL name/phone#/email address. This is the only place that needs your FFL's information.
Please do not use your FFL shipping information during checkout. Your billing and shipping information required during checkout of this product is your identifying information with your credit card company and will likely be declined if you use the FFL shipping address.
After your order is placed, we will reach out to your FFL and get a copy of their license which we then verify with the ATF before shipping.
Once your FFL receives your order, you will need to go to your FFL in person to fill out form 4473.

Excellent receiver
I have this paired with Kidd chassis and the fit is perfect. I bought this chassis because of the rear tang which works great. I particularly like the tight fit with the Kidd barrel, absolutely amazing. I just heated the receiver for 5 min and the barrel slid in perfectly.

Why did I wait so long!
After collecting every other Kidd part, I finally purchased the receiver. Smooth as butter!! Machined beautifly, I now have a full Kidd build, shot back to back .336 and .316 with SK LRM. I will absolutely be building another Kidd rifle.

4 Times, Still a Charm
This is the 4th of these receivers that I have purchased, 3 in Steel Challenge Chassis and one set up for Benchrest Rifle. All use exclusively Kidd Components, 2 Single Stage and one Double Stage Kidd Triggers. They are solidly made and beautifully finished. There is no substitute.

The Kidd receiver is obviously better made than the Ruger. Mating surfaces are much smoother and held to tighter tolerances. For me it was well worth the purchase price.

I'm trying to make sure I get everything I need to do a KIDD build. For the "reciever" do I need the V-BLOCK OPTION - TAKE DOWN SCREW OPTION - BOLT BUFFER OPTION - RECEIVER PINS OPTION if I'm starting from scratch?
