10/22
®
style aftermarket slip fit receiver
Durable anodized finish
Billet aluminum
Rear access cleaning hole
Optional v-block, rear tang, take down screw, bolt buffer, and pins
Specialized interchangeable scope base
Receiver comes standard with Zero scope base installed
The KIDD .22LR Classic Receiver is an aftermarket receiver. It is a slip-fit design with industry standard dimensions. The Classic is designed with the easy access rear cleaning hole and a proprietary interchangeable low scope base with varying minute of angle (MOA) available. Zero MOA is great for 50 yards and under 20 MOA is helpful for 150 yards and over. It is designed to drop into a stock inletted for the 10/22
®
without any modification. This receiver is milled out from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized either black or clear. Recommend using a KIDD trigger with a KIDD receiver.
We have provided the option to build this receiver with receiver pins, bolt buffer, or rear tang if desired. The receiver is machined to utilize our threaded receiver pins. Our upgraded bolt buffer will cushion the felt recoil of the bolt. The optional rear tang will increase your stability of the rifle but require some custom inletting to your stock. (See rear tang installation instruction below) We also have the additional option of a second scope base due to the interchangeable nature of this base you may want to purchase two. So for instance, if you were going to change from shooting 25 yards to 150 yards and your scope needed some help with that adjustment, you could switch out the base. Both the scope base and rear tangs have mating designs to the receiver so that our rifles have great rigidity as well as some customization aspects.

Top Notch
Top quality receiver. I did a total rebuild using Kidd parts everything fit great. I rebuilt the oem trigger group with Kidd parts and it needed to be tapped in, I thought a bit snug but it works perfect.

Awesome Product, Awesome Service
I reached out to Kidd tech support asking if I placed an order for two receivers if they could ship me units with consecutive serial numbers because my son and I are each doing a 10/22 clone build. Kidd told me to just make a note on online order and they would be able to do it. I ordered, and they arrived at my FFL in 2 weeks, far less than they estimated on the website. The receivers themselves are really well made, well finished, and were packed great so they arrived with no scratches. We went with the classic slip fit for maximum compatibility with stocks and so on. I did order the receivers with the Kidd takedown screw, V block, bolt buffer and screw retained trigger group pins (the Kidd receiver is already counter-sunk for them). No tang, because the AT-One stock does not support it without modifications, but I can always add the tang if I end up with a different stock. Honestly, my initial build sheet used the Kidd receiver, some brand VQ components, and a different manufacturer's carbon fiber barrel. My experience with Kidd was so positive (ultra-fast responses from customer service and as I mentioned the receivers were at my FFL 6 weeks early!) I think I'm changing to make this an all-Kidd build. I cannot wait until the builds are complete so I can see how well they shoot.

Great
I clicked on review this item but couldn’t write a review. That being said y’all’s trigger, receivers and barrels are top notch I love them the trigger is great the barrel is great and if you find the ammo you can get 3/4” groups at 100 yards. Plus costumer services is great I don’t remember the ladies name but she is great. Thanks and I will be putting another one together.

Kidd tang
Just finished putting together a complete kidd. As everyone has to say, the machining quality is outstanding. One thing that really compliments this receiver is the Tang that is specifically made for this receiver to the titan stock. It has to be purchased separately and replaces the factory Tang on a titan company stock. The details in this receiver really stand out. The holes for the receiver pins are already countersinked to accommodate Kidd pins. The way they designed their interchangeable scope rail while maintaining the rigidity of an integrated rail is perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this receiver as well as all of the products made by Kidd.

Mr.
Love this product! Just got the rifle finished this past weekend. Single stage trigger and Kidd bolt. At first was cutting lead, but talked with customer service and they were very helpful. Finally figured out the chamber needed to be slightly rounded. Put 500 rnds thru it with no more problems. Thanks for a Great product.

Q:
Hello, what is the 2nd base on this reciever? And what does the 20-60 minute of angle actually change on said reciever? Thanks
Asked by:
Emerson
- 11/23/2024
A:
Hi Emerson,
The 2nd base in is addition to the zero moa base that comes on the receiver. 20 MOA base would get you about 20 inches higher at 100 yards by angling your scope downward, 50 MOA base would get you about 50 inches higher at 100 yards. -Good shooting!

Q:
What all is included with the “receiver pins” option? Is a bolt stop pin included?
Asked by:
D
- 10/13/2024
A:
Hi D,
All the furniture is optional on this receiver, the receiver pins are our threaded pins with hex head screws on either end. We offer a bolt buffer instead of a bolt stop but the function is the same only the buffer cushions the bolt recoil. -Good shooting!

Does the forward portion of the receiver (that the scope rail screws onto) bracket the top of the barrel==> to provide increased rigidity of the barrel, or not?

Hi Woodsman,
No, the scope base doesn't inhibit the harmonics of the barrel in anyway. -Good shooting!

Q:
I have a Ruger Threaded Fluted Bull Barrel - Stainless. Ruger Item# 90983. I don’t have a micrometer to measure the barrel tenon and was hoping you might know if that would work with your Classic Slip fit receiver?
Asked by:
Justin
- 7/22/2024
A:
Hi Justin,
I would think that this question would come up more often but generally customers change out the barrel and receiver or buy a KIDD barrel to attach to their factory receiver rather than buying a KIDD receiver and attaching a factory barrel on it. I would measure the tenon before installing it in your KIDD receiver. Some factory barrels have tapers to them that could irreversibly change the mortise of the receiver.

Q:
I have never built a rifle before. I have an old (30ish years old) Ruger 10/22 that I've had since i was a kid. I just ordered a 20" KIDD bull barrel. the more i think of it, the more i want to also upgrade to a KIDD Receiver and Bolt as well. It will be mounted in a Magpul Hunter x22. My questions are that i dont understand some of the options significance. what is a V-Block? Can you explain the receiver pins option? Rear tang? And 2nd Base? I am thinking to return the barrel and buy one pre assembled.
Asked by:
Anthony Tisbert
- 6/10/2024
A:
Hi Anthony,
A barreled action is probably a better option for you, because then you can have your vintage rifle and your KIDD for the range. The v-block secures the barrel to the receiver. The receiver pins hold the trigger in the receiver. Our pins are threaded with screws on either end for a secure fit. And the added bonus of your pins not falling out (trigger on the floor) when the barreled action is removed from the stock. The rear tang is a second attachment point for the receiver in the stock and an added bedding surface. The take down screw is the first in the front. A 10 or 20 MOA base is recommended if you plan to shoot out past 50 yards or out past 100 yards with your .22 rimfire. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
