  • Interchangeable Supergrade Barrel
  • Bedded Stock
  • Modified Stock for Easier Barrel Detachment
  • Rear Tang Included
  • Swap out Any KIDD Supergrade Barrel

We have developed a unique barrel interchangeable system with an extra long barrel extension of 1 7/8" length (compared to the standard 3/4" barrel extension).  With this design the customer can now easily slip the barrel in and out of the receiver without resistance and still maintain the utmost in stability and harmonics.  KIDD now offers this alternative with our three part locking and stabilizing system sliding into a reinforced receiver.  With a 1 7/8" barrel extension, utilizing an indexing flat, clamping v, and clamping flat.  The indexing flat allows the shooter to perfectly time the barrel so that the extractor cut is properly aligned.  The clamping v and flat secure the barrel into the receiver with two 1/8" hex head bolts.

In our premium Supergrade line of custom rifles we inlet and bed each rifle.  The receiver's front flat and rear tang are bedded.  The stock is modified with access points so that the barrel can be removed without removing the stock.  WHAT!  Yes, you can change to another KIDD Supergrade barrel without even taking the stock off of the rifle.  After removing the magazine and making sure the chamber is clear, simply unscrew the two locking screws and pull out the barrel.  Then, slip in your next KIDD Supergrade barrel while applying downward pressure and with a slight turn of the barrel.  Use the indexing flat to make sure the barrel is properly timed and fully installed.  Tighten the two 1/8th hex screws to snug and away you go. KIDD sells a locking torque screwdriver to give you the desired 26.6in lb torque.

Our Supergrade receiver comes with the easy access rear cleaning hole and interchangeable low scope base with varying MOAs available.  A zero degree scope base will come installed on the receiver and an optional 10, or 20 MOA can be purchased to assist the shooter in reaching the longer distances.  Both the scope base and rear tangs have mating designs to the receiver so that our rifles have great rigidity as well as some customization aspects. We machine each receiver from billet 6061 T6 aluminum and use an anodized finish either black or silver.

The Supergrade receiver will be assembled using our quiet bolt buffer, counter sunk receiver pins with two 1/16th hex screws holding them in place, guide rod, tuning springs, and take down screw.  The magazine provided with the rifle will be a 10 round rotary magazine which will be tested/fitted and shipped with your new KIDD.  We must ship rifles to a federal firearms license or FFL in your area.

The bedding process does not allow for the barrel channel to be removed. When installing attachments to the stock the M-LOK® System MagPul® has developed will allow you to install their attachments without taking the action out of the stock.

I received my wife’s supergrade rifle 2 days ago and a big thank you to shipping department for the awesome job of packing, they foamed the rifle in so good that you could drop it from 20 feet and never hurt it. We finally got the rifle scoped up and out on the range today, shot 15 rounds through it @ 50 yards to site in and foul the barrel. I then shot a 10 shot and a 8 shot group with so Eley Match ammo and pulled off easy sub 1/2 inch groups, very happy!!! So my wife wanted to try and WOW she shot a 1/4 inch group and about 4 or 5 follow up 1/4 groups. Moved her out to 100 yards for some sub 3/4 inch groups. Very impressive for a 18 lightweight barrel and 8 x 8 oz trigger, fits her perfectly. Thanks Tony Kidd and team!!!

I think it's time to build another supergrade.great idea tony.the last supergrade I built was a threaded receiver. The accuracy is unbelievable. 20" bull barrel, single stage trigger set at 10 ounces, Harrell's barrel tuner set at 200 with 11ounces of weight, terminater stock,Piller bedded and free-floated,rear Tang, best 5 shot group at 50 yards is .008 with Lapua Midas plus ammo. Your supergrades are the best on the market. Accuracy or fit and finish these guns are state of the art.I'm a long time kidd customer and his guns are still shooting as good now as they did when they were new.

A truly amazing rifle!
I ordered a custom Supergrade rifle over the holidays and while order volume was heavy, Kidd Innovative Designs did a great job and their communications were always prompt and friendly. By appearance, the rifle is beautiful. It has one bright silver minor nick on the left side of the receiver that is a bit annoying but still a 5 star. I can touch that up for this sort of sublime performance. I've been champing at the bit to shoot this rifle. With a lot going on, I finally got to do that and traveled to the NRA Whittington Center on 04/07/2019 at the sight in range. I had about 15 types of premium match ammo to try but time was short due to testing one of my custom AR builds and 2 other new guns. In Rimfire Central, several guys recommend one odd type of ammo that Supergrades usually love. I'd never heard of it before but wow, did they ever nail that! Also, the first new Ruger 10 round magazine I grabbed and no first round fliers! I didn't get to try the heavy fluted bull barrel due to time constraints. However, the lightweight barrel settled down very quickly and by 20 rounds was printing 5 shot groups under .200" at 25 yards. That was across a ball bearing benchrest with a pinch bag in back but I have to say, with 16 power scope, all of that group spread was me, not the rifle. I've never shot groups that tight at 25, to be frank. This thing is as accurate as a laser. I believe it would print right near bore diameter at 25 yards with a champion shooter - which I am most assuredly not. There was mild wind in the mix, too, and I didn't try to dope for that. Guys at the range could not believe that there were 5 shots through that one little hole. I offered to let one friendly oldtimer try it out for himself but he admitted that he hasn't shot groups that tight since high school shooting team so he said no. This marvel is shooting so accurate, I was using the tiny patch dots for bullseyes. Those little dots in the corners of a sight in target? Yep, those were my bullseyes. The scope is a Weaver V16 and while it is a bit twitchy at 16 power, it is nice clear glass. Absolutely the most accurate firearm I've ever owned. Truly astounding! To Tony Kidd and his team: Thank you very much! I am amazed. This is my new favorite firearm ever and I own plenty.

Worth every penny
I have been shooting my KIDD Super Grade with rear tang and 2.5# single stage trigger for awhile now. I have both 20" Stainless bull and 16" Ultralight aluminum sleeved barrels both threaded for a suppressor. I have been shooting SK Standard Plus in the rifles with great effect. Ackwardly leaning off a deck rail and hitting a 5" round target at 150 yards every shot is the norm with either barrel. Shooting a 50 yard 10 shot group with the 20" that can not be covered with a quarter with room to spare means you screwed up. You can cover a 25 yard 10 shot group out of the 16.5" with a dime. I only use my shooting bag as a rest as have not invested in a set of bags yet so I could wring more out of her if I show a little more dedication. The machining is outstanding on the barrels counter bore (needed as the bore will expand when you cut the threading), threading, outside and shank. Internals and all parts are made to the same high standard. I used to be a quantity sort of guy, but the KIDD turned me on to valuing quality instead. I should have bought one years ago as it is so enjoyable to shoot. A friend spent 800-900 bucks replacing everything but his 10/22 receiver and mine shoots smaller groups and is more consistent than his even though he has the exact same scope, KIDD trigger and pull weight (He got one thing right as the KIDD trigger is amazing). Plus mine has never had a malfunction in the first 1000+ rounds.

NRL22 Junkie
First gun I have bought in a long time that works perfect out of the box. The first 4 shots at 50yds with Federal Match ammo were touching each other. Bought this for NRL 22 matches and could not be happier with the function and accuracy of this rifle!

Absolutely Exceptional!!!!
I very seldom write product reviews but my KIDD Supergrade Premium 10/22 deserves high praise. The machining, fit and finish on my rifle is as good as it gets. After several discussions with the fine folks at Kidd on what would produce the best possible accuracy, I opted for the 20 inch bull barrel , no flutes or threading, two stage trigger set at 8 oz and 8 oz. I mounted a Vortex Viper 6.5 x 20 set at 16 power. I ran a box of 50 CCI Standard Velocity ammo through it getting it sighted in and banging around the plates on a dueling tree. Rounds 51 through 60 were shot for a group at 50 yards off a bench and bags. That very first 10 shot group , using run of the mill ammo measured .441 . Ten shot group under a half inch from a barrel not even beginning to be fully broken in!! That's amazing! I can't wait to run a couple hundred rounds through it and then get into the Lapua, Eley and RWS match grade ammo and really see what this will do. I'll keep you posted. Thank you Tony! What is also amazing is that I had my rifle in hand within four days of placing the order. I'm so impressed with every aspect of the Supergrade that I just placed an order for a barrel, single stage trigger, bolt and all the other small bits to trick out my Ruger Charger. I'm hoping Santa will see fit to leave me a quick change ultra lite barrel for the Supergrade. If you want the very best in quality and accuracy, and also want the finest trigger on the market don't look anywhere else. Just spend the bucks and order a rifle from KIDD. You will not be disappointed.

The best shooting 22 rifle I have ever seen!
My rifle arrived about a week ago, and I have been champing at the bit to get to a range with the right target distances to sight it in and to see what it can do. Last week was a no go, because there was just too much rain, but today was bright and sunny, so I took a drive to Conroe and ran this rifle through its paces. I was not really surprised. I have Kidd triggers on two of my 10/22's, so I know what they are supposed to feel like. But having a Kidd trigger and having a Kidd rifle are two different things. One is a taste, and the other is a full meal. Once I got it sighted in at 50 yards, and saw that it was shooting well within the guaranteed parameters (in this case -- a four shot group with each shot overlapping a bit), I moved to the 100 yard target and basically repeated the performance. To tell the truth, I don't shoot as well as this rifle does!!!!! I love this rifle!!! I decided to order a lightweight barrel for it as well. I have 5 10/22's in all, and this is the best example of that type of rifle I know of!

KIDD Supergrade Premium Rifle
That’s what I say…”Why Be Average.” This rifle is outstanding! I purchased a Kidd Super Grade Premium Rifle with a 20” barrel, two stage trigger of 3oz./3oz.=6oz., with no muzzle brake. Strictly a target rifle. This rifle is capable of shooting ¼” groups at 50 yards with the higher end ammunition and easily shoots 3/8” groups with good shooting skills. I have shot at this time about 500 rounds all of varying ammunition at 50 yards to test what manufacturer groups best: Wolf Match Extra (easily ½” groups), Wolf Match Target (easily ½” groups). With all new rifles there is a learning curve to work though and barrel brake in. I believe with just a bit more practice this rifle will shoot ¼” groups at 50 yards.

Shooting this rifle is a lot of fun!
I revived my shooting hobby with the 10-22’s because there are so many ways to modify them and it’s been fun. Then I decided I wanted more than just a modified rifle and ordered my KIDD .22LR Supergrade Premium Rifle. I ordered it with an 18" Fluted Light Weight Silver muzzle thread and cap with a muzzle brake, scalloped bolt. The design is slick because you can change out the barrel in about 1 minute for plinking, hunting or target. I’m totally amazed with the whole fit and accuracy of this rifle, out of the box. I ran to the range with CCI MM HP, attached a red dot and was shooting better than 1/2” groups! And that’s with an outdated vision prescription! This Magpul stock is adjustable and fits me perfectly. After 120 rounds I broke it down and cleaned the receiver/bolt noticing the fine design and manufacture of this rifle. I also ordered a torque driver for the custom screws that secure the barrel. I don’t know the effect on accuracy but I’ll have fun finding out. Everything fits perfectly, it’s a beautiful rifle, and I like it. With all due respect to Ruger and the fun I’ve had modifying the stock 10-22, I am totally thrilled with this custom build from Kidd. Shooting this rifle is a lot of fun!
