Avoiding barrel droop — our engineering
KIDD’s interchangeable Supergrade system uses a dramatically longer 1 7/8" barrel extension compared to
the standard 3/4" extension. This added length provides exceptional
stability, improved harmonics, and a slip-fit interface that allows the barrel
to slide smoothly into the receiver with zero resistance.
The precision-machined indexing flat guarantees perfect timing
of the barrel, ensuring the extractor cut aligns exactly as intended. The clamping V and clamping flat tighten the barrel securely into a
reinforced receiver via two 1/8" hex
head screws, delivering a rigid, repeatable, and perfectly aligned
lock-up every time.
Each Supergrade rifle is fully inletted and bedded—receiver front
flat and rear tang. The stock is engineered with hidden access points so you
can remove or replace the barrel without
ever removing the action from the stock. Simply clear the chamber,
remove the magazine, loosen the two locking screws, pull out the barrel, slide
in your next Supergrade barrel, time it with the indexing flat, then torque to 26.6 in-lb using KIDD’s locking torque
driver.
Receivers feature an easy-access rear cleaning hole and an interchangeable
scope base system so you can run 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 MOA depending on your
shooting distance. Both the base and tang have matching geometry to the
receiver for superb rigidity and consistent performance.
Installation & break-in tips
·
Remove the magazine and clear the chamber before
swapping barrels
·
Loosen only the two 1/8" hex clamping screws—no need to pull the stock
·
Slide in the new barrel with light downward
pressure and slight rotation for perfect alignment
·
Use the indexing flat to ensure proper timing
with the extractor cut
·
Torque clamping screws to 26.6 in-lb for best accuracy
·
When attaching accessories, use the M-LOK® system without removing the
action
