Avoiding barrel droop — our engineering
Every Classic Chassis rifle is inletted to accept the KIDD rear tang, giving the action a strong secondary
anchor at the back of the receiver. This added locking point dramatically
increases chassis rigidity and improves shot-to-shot consistency, especially
with precision rimfire barrels.
The KIDD Classic receiver retains all the
hallmark features shooters rely on: an easy-access
rear cleaning hole for convenient maintenance, a modular scope base
system offering 0, 10, 20,
30, 40, or 50 MOA elevation options, and tight interface
geometry between the tang and base for a rock-solid connection.
Machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, each receiver is finished in
either black or silver anodizing for durability. The action is completed with
KIDD’s tuned internal components—quiet bolt buffer, counter-sunk receiver pins
secured by 1/16" hex screws,
guide rod, tuning springs, and take-down screw. Each 10-round magazine is
individually tested and fitted before leaving the shop.

slots to add bipods, weights, or accessories without removing the
action
