A standard 10/22® steel bolt stop allows the bolt to slam rearward with every
cycle. Over time that repeated impact can leave marks and increase vibration.
Our design pairs a steel dowel pin
for structural strength with a resilient
rubber tube that cushions the bolt at the end of travel. The result is
a quieter, softer, and more controlled stop without compromising cycling
reliability.
Installation & break-in tips
·
Start the tubing from the inside center of the receiver and push outward
through both sides -it’s easier than starting from the outside
·
Install the cocking handle and bolt before inserting the bolt buffer
·
From the outside of the receiver, push the steel dowel pin through the tubing
·
Ensure the tubing is fully seated and centered
for best cushioning performance
