-Aftermarket replacement for the 10/22® bolt stop

-Steel core with padded tubing cover

-Eliminate “bolt battering” of the receiver

-Dampen cycling vibration

This 10/22® accessory is a must have!  An inexpensive quick to install upgrade.  A great addition if you want

less battering, vibration, and recoil noise.  Not recommended for use with magnum receivers.

Installation instructions:

First install the tubing beginning from the inside center of the receiver and pushing it out through the right

and left side.  (If you attempt to thread the tubing from the outside left or right it’s more difficult) Second

from the outside of the receiver thread/push the dowel pin through the tubing.  Note, the cocking handle and

bolt will need to be installed prior to the KIDD bolt buffer.

This is definitely a must have!
There are a lot of after market parts (all of which can be obtained here) that will make a "stock" 10/22 perform so much better than factory, but this one was the most impressive for me. It significantly reduces the mount of noise and vibration generally associated with each firing cycle. And this is one of the few I've tried that's really easy to insert and remove, without the need of any force. Do you and your rifle a favor and pick up a couple of these things.

I love these buffers
This I suppose was the least significant upgrade I did to my rifles, but I certainly like them. Were I crazy enough to want to pay an insane amount for a silencer and the associated tax, I suspect this mod would be invaluable. As it is, I just like the idea that my bolt and receiver are not beating each other to death.

Kidd products rock!
Forgot to write this review after I did the trigger kit review. Ya wanna know why? My rifle was/is so much quieter, and softer shooting that I FORGOT I had installed it. As soon as I get my new Bolt Hold Open, and extended mag release I believe I will have the most perfect 10-22 rig evar!! /;-) BUY THE BUFFER!

Another well-make product
This was a bit of a pain to install, since the sleeve itself gets caught going in the 2nd hole... however, some spit and some patience got it in without too much of a headache. I haven't shot with it yet, but initial impression is solid.

Best bolt buffer!!
I had tried a couple of the other aftermarket buffers and they were effective. I read some of the other reviews on KIDD products and ordered one of these and it is excellent. The best one I have had so far.

Great addition
Simple, easy mod. Didn't even shoot my new 10/22 until this was added.
