Upgrade your Ruger® 10/22® Charger™ with a polished stainless pistol bull barrel that brings show-quality finish and match-grade performance to a compact platform.
Pistol bull in a compact length: Full .920" bull profile scaled to a 10" length for the Charger™ — delivers the stiffness and sight feel of a bull barrel in a pistol package.
Match-grade components: Bored & rifled by Lothar Walther (Germany), finished and final-machined by Tony Kidd, and chambered with a proprietary reamer for smooth, reliable feeding.
Extractor reliability: Precision convex extractor slot keeps the extractor perfectly aligned with the case rim to eliminate common extraction issues — a tight-tolerance feature few makers offer.
Accessory ready: Muzzle threading 1/2"-28 is included so you can add a muzzle device or suppressor; protective cap supplied.
Compact, rigid design: Polished stainless construction and a controlled tenon geometry produce repeatable fit and improved harmonics for tighter groups.

Barrel droop is prevented by precision fit. KIDD uses a resistance-fit mortise-and-tenon where the tenon is held uniform in diameter and slightly oversized for a tight, repeatable seat in the receiver. The shoulder between the .920" contour and the tenon is machined as a clean step (not a ramp) so the barrel sits flush and fully supported. When fitment is correct, the barrel resists tilt and long-term sag.
• Prep: Remove paint/debris from the receiver mortise before installation. • Lubricate: Apply a light anti-seize compound to the tenon to ease installation. • Seat: Start the tenon into the mortise, align the extractor slot, then turn the rifle over and gently tap the rear of the receiver with a rubber mallet to seat. • V-blocks: V-block screws only need to be snug — about 10 in-lb — enough to prevent forward movement without distorting alignment. • Break-in: Run two magazines through the barrel before evaluating groups; repeat when you change ammunition brands. • Cleaning: Keep the chamber clean, but avoid excessive bore scrubbing. Typical bore-clean interval: ~500 rounds (varies by ammo).
