Picatinny scope base for the KIDD .22 receiver
MOA Option: zero
will not work with any receiver except KIDD
This scope base will mate with the slot cut on the KIDD Classic or Supergrade receiver models. This zero MOA is designed to be used for 50 yards or less. The farther you would like to shoot the more likely you will need an increased MOA base.
Package includes:
scope base
three screws
hex wrench
Q:
What MOA base and ring size are needed to cleanly mount a 50MM objective lens on a Kidd rifle? 50-200 yd range. This scope in particular. Athlon Argos BTR 6-24X50mm. Thank you. I want the scope as low as possible, but not touching.
Asked by:

Q:
My wife has a 10/22 style rifle built entirely of your parts, She has taken an interest in long range precision shooting and is running out of elevation adjustment on her scope, she has your bases and it is ramped but we can’t remember if it’s a 10 or 20 moa, if it’s a 10, we want to order a 20. Can you give us the dimensions on them so we know which one we have? Any possibility of 30 or maybe even 40 moa rails in the future? Thanks for you help! PS, she is 69 years old, loves her rifle, and shoots 1/4” group's at 50 yards all day long!

A:
Hi Larry, I looked up your order history. The scope base you ordered was a 20 MOA. We do not offer any other MOA. Give us a call and we can give you some suggestions.

Q:
Should the mounting screws be Loctited and what torque setting would you use?
Asked by:
Rick
- 8/22/2019
A:
Yes, a small amount of blue Loctite will be okay. Make sure the Loctite doesn't get onto your firing pin. You may want to let it dry before installing the bolt. We recommend hand tightening the screws. They have small threads so be careful not to torque them.

Q:
My Kidd rifle has a zero moa scope base. The front of my scope is very close to the barrel , and cannot go any lower. Does the 10 moa scope mount lower the front of the scope to achieve the correction? In other words, is the front of the 10 moa base sit lower than the front of the zero moa base?
Asked by:
Jeff Meyers
- 7/15/2019
A:
Yes, the front of the 10 MOA does sit lower than the 0 MOA base which will point your scope down towards the barrel.

Q:
Would you consider making a version of this base that extends an inch or so further? The current version doesn't provide adequate eye relief for larger scopes when shooting in seated position.
Asked by:
Xavier
- 2/2/2019
A:
I am sorry but we only offer the one option. We do not offer custom products.

Q:
Can the 20 and/or 20 MOA base be mounted backwards in case I need to lower the front of the scope? I hope I am asking this question right. Thanks!
Asked by:
MG
- 8/9/2016
A:
Hi MG, We have an offset middle screw, so that the base can not be mistakenly mounted backwards. Good shooting! KIDD

Q:
Will I be able to mount this 20 moa rail on my stock ruger reciever ?
Asked by:
Robert Martinez
- 3/10/2016
A:
We have different mounting holes on our scope base made for our receiver. This base will not work on a factory receiver and at this time we don't make a 20 MOA for a factory receiver. Good shooting! KIDD

Q:
Are the scope bases marked as to 0, 10, or 20 deg, and can they be installed backwards to give you the wrong tilt direction?
Asked by:
B.P.
- 1/12/2016
A:
Hi B.P. The package is marked as to 0, 10, or 20 but the base itself is not. The middle screw is off set to prevent a backwards installation. Good shooting! KIDD
