Why 0-50 MOA? — maximizing rimfire reach
A minute or angle or MOA rail introduces a slight forward cant, pointing your
optic downward so that when you zero, the barrel angles upward. That added
elevation room is critical for rimfire ballistics, letting you dial or hold for
impacts well beyond 100 yards. If your scope already has generous vertical
adjustment, you may not need the increased cant—but for long-range .22 LR work,
it’s a proven advantage.
Installation & break-in tips
·
Ensure the mating slot on the receiver is clean
before installation
·
Align the base fully into the KIDD receiver’s
top cut before tightening
·
Apply a small amount of blue threadlocker to
mounting screws
·
Torque evenly to maintain rail straightness
