Description
The KIDD single stage drop-in trigger unit. This design is adjustable from 1 1/2 pounds to 5 pounds with the turn of a plunger. It comes in silver or black anodized aluminum with a matching trigger blade. The redesigned bolt holt open and interchangeable magazine lever are standard. Our single stage trigger guard is CNC machined to Tony's specifications. The redesigned fit and closely held tolerances of the internal parts allow for the cleanest breaking single stage in the industry. An aftermarket auto bolt release is standard with our trigger.
How is this different from our two stage? This single stage more closely matched the traditional function of the Ruger trigger except with a refined feel and adjustability. Our two stage has a travel stage where the trigger blade moves rearward for about a 1/4 of an inch before it comes to the breaking stage. Because of this travel stage our two stage trigger is able to be reduced in weight to only 6 ounces versus the lowest weight for our single stage is 1 1/2 pounds.
Note from sales department: Buy one of each, you will love them both !

like breaking glass
This trigger is the best I've ever shot. Better than custom centerfire triggers and high end european air rifle triggers. I built a 10/22 for my kids and soon realized that the stock ruger trigger would develop all sorts of bad habits. The KIDD trigger is the solution. This is the trigger I have people shoot to demonstrate what a perfect break feels like. Warning--once you buy one, you'll want match grade triggers on the rest of your firearms.

Best 10/22 Trigger on the Market
I have the Kidd single-stage trigger on a Ruger 10/22 with Kidd bolt and Clark 16 1/2" bull barrel. The single-stage trigger is a very big reason why I can get the occasional sub-MOA five-shot group off the bench at 100 yards, and loads of groups measuring about 1 1/4 inch. And this gun has hit a golf ball-sized target ten times in a row off the bench at 100 yards. Without the Kidd single-stage, I don't think I could shoot nearly as well. I have it set at about 2 1/4 pounds, and it is extremely crisp and releases very cleanly. Build quality and finish are superb. This trigger eclipses even the legendary Jewell triggers you hear about --- and they are a lot easier to get! A bull barrel is fine, but without this trigger, my shooting would never be as accurate. I have two of them.

This is a great product doing everything that it was supposed to do. Smooth crisp clean break with absolutely no creep. Definitely the way to go it you want to decrease the size of your groups. Way to go guys! Now I just have to save up for another one for my nephew's 10-22. And a Kidd barrel.
