We noticed that all the scope mounts offered by our competitors are too tall and don't allow for proper eye relief positioning of the scope.

The lowest scope rings are 1/4" tall. Add 1/2" to 5/8" of scope base and you now have to pick your head up off of the stock to see through the scope.

The KID Scope Base addresses these problems by keeping base height to a minimum(.326") and incorporating the picatinny spacing system used by the military. It works just like the Weaver style bases and rings you are accustom to only the slot spacing is identical for every mount made no matter what gun it is attached to.

What does this do for our rifles? It lets us use any Weaver style ring (they are fully compatible with the picatinny) to easily adjust for proper eye relief. You can now set the rifle up for yourself, your wife, kids or grandkids. Its easy. Its so easy that you can swap scopes from gun to gun (I'm guilty of having more rifles than scopes). When I want to benchrest my hunting rifle I just pull the high power target scope from any  rifle and attach it to my hunting rifle. I don't have to move the rings, the cross hairs don't become canted and it reattaches to the original rifle perfectly.

The KID Scope Base is CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum with tolerances held to .001" and will make a great addition to your rifle.
