This bolt buffer does what any other bolt buffer does. The differences are this one is cheaper, easier to install, and made of better materials. The rubber is the same stuff used to make O-rings, which usually only fail after being exposed to extreme heat and pressure over long periods of time. For this application, I don't think it will ever wear out. |

A have a few 10/22's and they all have different polymer bolt buffers. All the non-metal bolt buffers quiet the action and help with long term fatigue. What I believe this product does much better than others is to reduce the perceived recoil by adding a better cushion at the end of the bolt travel. The little bit of cushion this offers does make a difference. All of my other buffers will be switched out with this product. |

Don't buy the cheap plastic one you have seen on other sites. Buy this quality quality bolt buffer from Kidd, see no reason it won't last a lifetime. Plus it less money than the cheap plastic/nylon that everyone complains about. Buy quality! |

The Kidd bolt buffer Vs. the stock metal pin is no contest. It quiets the cycling of the action so much you can barely hear it at all. Fits perfectly, stays put but is so much easier to remove during cleanings that the stock pin. Over 500 rounds fired and no visible wear on the pin or rubber sleeve. |

I read multiple reviews for several different branded parts that claim to do what this item does, but I really liked the idea of a steel core surrounded with a soft rubber outer shell, it seemed to make more sense than just a piece of plastic that could break at some point. The recoil noise is greatly reduced, and I'm sure that when I go out shooting again, I will notice a huge difference. Just another awesome product by those geniuses over at Kidd Innovative Design! Thanks for all your work Tony and crew! |

After purchasing my first gun not even a month ago, I have done extensive research on everything and all things Ruger 10/22.
I decided to make this my first upgrade purchase and dude this thing makes such a huge difference in the noise output department alone. I got instant satisfaction having a bolt stopper that isn't slowly destroying my gun over time.
Shipping was seemingly instantaneous (2 days), top notch quality and it doesn't hurt to have the first upgrade that you purchase very cost efficient too.
Coupled with the grade A customer service and shipping, the Kidd Bolt Buffer is an absolutely perfect (and essential) introduction product to the never-ending world of Ruger 10/22 customization and modification. |

I tried several different composite bolt buffers but found them deformed when I tore the gun down to clean it. The Kidd bolt buffer does not suffer that fate. I installed a Kidd Bolt Buffer about a year ago and have run 2000+ rounds through the gun. The gun has been torn down 5 or 6 times to be cleaned and the Kidd buffer is as good as new. It works! |

Again I tried the other guys stuff first and then tried KIDDs. Why do I do that, KIDD alway wins. This buffer is simple and rugged and it works great. I've got four to five thousand rounds through this buffer and I still works and looks new!
I am again very pleased with this and all KIDD products. Thanks KIDD keep it up! |
